During our epic adventure from Baltimore to the Maldives, we captured some photos of the gorgeous changing scenery from our flight between Dubai and Male, Maldives. We were glued to the window as we watched the city skyline turn to fluffy white clouds, then rugged mountains, then wavy desert sands, and finally turquoise blue waters from thousands of miles high. So in case you are curious to see what it looks like between Dubai and the Maldives, here are some of our favorite photos captured from our window. The best view of Dubai’s skyline on our way out

Have you ever seen such fluffy white clouds?

The clouds thinned out to show us the desert sand below

And then we discovered Dubai’s mountains

And zoomed in for a closer look at Dubai’s beautiful mountains

We couldn’t get enough of this stunning scenery
Who knew Dubai had mountains?

And just like that the scene changed to mesmerizing waves of sand

Sand soon met water

We saw nothing but water for a long time

Flying over the atolls

Enjoying the shades of blue as sea meets sky

Getting closer to that amazing blue water for which the Maldives is famous

So close we could almost touch it

Sea meets land again

Welcome to the Maldives
