Dubai Miracle Garden 2016
While staying in Dubai for 2 days, we visited the Dubai Miracle Garden 2016. We asked many area residents for suggestions on what to see. We wanted to do more than the typical tourist. We had already visited the world’s tallest building and the world’s largest mall. We had strolled the boardwalk at Jumeirah Beach Residience and had loaded up on souvenirs at Souk Madinat and the textile souk. We wanted a unique experience that most tourists don’t visit when in Dubai. A very friendly taxi driver encouraged us to check out Miracle Garden. It truly is one of the miracles of Dubai for the amount of flowers it sustains in the dry Arabian desert terrain and climate.
Miracle Garden Dubai Entry Fee
The Dubai Miracle Garden entrance fee is only 40 AED (about $12) per person. This makes it a fun and family-friendly activity that is easy on your budget in this city that can be very expensive. The Miracle Garden price is surprisingly low considering the cost to maintain a flower garden in the middle of the desert. Kids age 3 and under and disabled adults get in for free. The Miracle Garden entry fee is well worth it.
Dubai Miracle Garden Deals
Deals are hard to find for Miracle Garden Dubai tickets but have been available in the past. Check Groupon and hitthedeals.com for a discounted Dubai Miracle Garden ticket price, which may be available for limited times. Otherwise, the Miracle Garden fee is cheap enough that even full-price admission feels like a good deal.
Miracle Garden Ticket Entrance
At the entrance where you hand over your Miracle Garden ticket, you pass under 2 crooked houses leaning together to form an archway that is very whimsical. It made me think of the Wizard of Oz, like the houses had been picked up by a tornado and landed in that position.
After passing under the houses, you see many arches of flowers in shades of pink, red, and white that makes a lovely photo opportunity, if you are patient to wait for the crowds to pass through. There’s a large sign at the entrance that is another beautiful photo spot. Honestly, there are wonderful photo opportunities all throughout this place, as we soon learned.
Floral displays at Miracle Garden
We chose to follow the path to the left and came across some giant hearts made of flowers which were perfect for the recent Valentine’s Day. They also had giant peacocks made of flowers, which were lovely, and a large formal flower bed area.
Relaxation areas at Dubai Miracle Garden 2016
There were adorable little seating areas all around the perimeter of the garden that looked so cozy and inviting, but we were too busy exploring to have a seat. We did stop long enough to smell the flowers and take some photos in this gorgeous setting. Many families were gathered in this area having snacks and taking a break with their young children. There were plenty of cushioned seats, bean bags, and butterfly benches for people to take a rest.
Floral houses
Next we wondered upon floral houses, which reminded me of Hansel and Gretel’s gingerbread home, except made from flowers instead of candy. I loved the cabbage windows.
Live music at Miracle Garden Dubai
We made our way to a large amphitheater with a live saxophone performance, which was a sweet little stop on our stroll around the garden. Bertaut made himself right at home while we listed to a John Legend song on the saxophone.
Whimsical floral displays
Next we discovered all sorts of fun floral displays including lady bugs, cars, and even the Eiffel Tower. They had colorful props all throughout the garden making it feel like a fairy tale land, including Cinderella’s carriage. There were also models of the Burj Khalifa and other landmarks from around the world made out of lemons. We even found this cute train that our kids would have loved seeing, although it did not move.We found this cute pond area with fake flamingos and a ship adorned with flowers.
Miracle Garden Dubai Umbrella Garden
Before heading from Miracle Garden to Global Village, we made our way through the whimsical food court area. It was creatively decorated with upside down umbrellas in all colors of the rainbow to shade us from the sun. This little area was nothing short of magical. I may have to steal this idea for a future birthday party for our children because I loved the way it looked!Dubai’s Miracle Garden is a lovely way to spend a few hours taking a leisurely stroll through the magnificent floral displays, which will amuse both adults and children alike with its whimsical fairy-tale like displays. Any gardeners should make this a top priority for their visit to Dubai. My mom enjoys gardening and we both kept thinking about how she would love this place! We will have to bring her here one day, along with our children, who would have so much fun discovering the amazing floral displays. We hope you get the chance to check it out too, as you will not be disappointed.
Dubai Miracle Garden Hours
Miracle Garden Dubai opening time is 9am-9pm daily, with extended hours until 11pm on Friday and Saturday. We spent several hours there but could have easily stayed all day enjoying the music, flowers, and romantic ambience. Plan to spend a good portion of your day if you are into gardening.

Dubai Miracle Garden Awards and Movie Scenes
Dubai won the Guinness World Record in 2013 for the world’s largest natural flower garden. It fills a whopping 780,000 sq ft and contains 45 million planted flowers. You may be wondering how do they maintain such a vast garden in the dry desert climate? They re-use waste water through a drip irrigation method with an average amount of 200,000 gallons of water per day. Now that is impressive!
Miracle Garden opened on Valentine’s Day 2013, so is one of the newer things to do in this ever-growing city. If you are looking for something romantic to do on your Dubai visit, then head here with your date to stroll hand in hand through the beautiful gardens. A scene from a Bollywood movie was even filmed here to show Dubai’s softer side.
Plan your Dubai Miracle Garden 2017 visit
Check out Miracle Garden’s website at Www.dubaimiraclegarden.com to see their full photo gallery with aerial shots that we were unable to capture from the ground, and without the crowds of people. If only we hadn’t lost our drone in the Indian Ocean, we could have captured those aerial shots ourselves! 🙁
