The Greenbrier in White Sulpher Springs, West Virginia is a destination in and of itself thanks to its rich and fascinating history, one-of-a-kind Dorothy Draper decor, southern hospitality, and multitude of indoor and outdoor activities (over 55 including falconry, ice skating, and bowling). Each room and suite is luxuriously decorated to make guests feel cheerful and cozy with Dorothy Draper’s bold colorful interior design. The magnificent Presidential Suite in the Windsor Club is the most spacious and luxurious of all the suites at The Greenbrier. Dwight D. Eisenhower held the North American Summit Conference there in 1956, hence its name, and more recently it welcomed Bill Clinton. It has also welcomed royalty including Prince Rainnier and Princess Grace of Monaco and the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, as well as celebrities like Reese Witherspoon. We had the pleasure of getting a private tour of the Presidential Suite at The Greenbrier during our visit from a friendly bellman. If you’re curious what $25,000 per night will get you at America’s Resort, we are here to show you. Come along with us and our favorite bellman Russell for a peek at the 7 bedroom, 2-story Presidential Suite. The suite is large enough to be a home and features a private foyer, library, den, living room with grand piano, private patio, and gorgeous dining room. It can accommodate 14 people but can entertain 200 people. We can only imagine the parties thrown within those walls! The suite is situated in The Windsor Club, an exclusive wing of the resort that comes with its own private lounge and amenities, which are listed on the sign below.

That concludes our little tour of the Presidential Suite at The Greenbrier, so we hope you have enjoyed your sneak peek of one of the most expensive hotel suites in the United States. If you ever have the opportunity to stay there, call us, we want to come hang out! 😉 We certainly won’t be dropping 25K for one night, but for those who can do it, more power to you! If 7 couples divide the cost, then it is about $3,500 per couple, which is much more doable. To see some of the exquisite suites we’ve actually stayed in, check out these hotels reviews in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and New York, which were great deals thanks to our elite status with the hotels which scored us free suite upgrades. Nothing quite compares to The Greenbrier, with its timeless elegance and colorful luxurious decor. We appreciate The Greenbrier for its place in history, its unique style and friendly southern hospitality. Oh, how I would love to stay there! Not sure I could ever justify $25K a night though – a standard visit to the Greenbrier will have to do for now!
It’s a pretty penny indeed Kelly. Given that it includes 7 suites, kitchen, library, many formal dining rooms & living rooms, it may make sense for large groups. We were satisfied with our standard suite
