Is Cuba on your bucket list? If not, we think it will be after you check out these iconic photos of this charismatic radiant island in the Carribean. We didn’t know what to expect in this formerly forbidden land and were blown away by its charm and romance. Old Havana is the most colorful city we’ve ever visited between the vibrant buildings and vivid classic cars. A visit to Old Havana, founded in 1519, feels like you’ve been transported in a time machine to the 1950’s. Classic American cars in every shade of the rainbow cruise the bright streets where laundry hangs on wrought-iron gates from balconies. Impressive baroque and neoclassical architecture is mixed in with neglected dilapidated mansions. As you stroll down the narrow streets you will hear live salsa music and may just grab the person next to you for a dance. After soaking up the culture of Havana, head to Varadero to soak up the Carribean sun on the beautiful beaches with crystal clear turquoise water. There’s so much to love about Cuba!
